★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not dissapointed but we surely had better in Tavira. The chicken was tasty but a lot of bone and little flesh. No salad to accompany the meal. The banoffee as dessert was just not good. Also the wait was long and it wasnt even crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. The tuna belly almost dissolves on your tongue - it's that succulent. The seasoning is incredible too: garlic, lemon and buttery notes that combine like a fine orchestra. Service was great and ridiculously cheap. Two mains, a shared starter and two beers = 24 euros. Please visit, you won't regret it. Thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is, by far and away, the absolute best food I found in Tavira. There is simply no better meal to be had and the prices are fantastic. The frango assado is delicious and I kept coming back for more. Do yourself a favor, skip the tourist traps and go straight to Franganário, you won't be disappointed. I will be back again tonight!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I give it 4 stars because it is quite cheap, the food gets 3 stars. Both the most common chicken and meat dishes and the beer and wine prices. It tastes normal good and the personnel are very helpful. Nothing really exciting food but heartful and a typical Portuguese lunch restaurant. Three small tables outside on the pavement, more inside.
