The Santrini flavor is definitely worth a taste if you like citrus flavors. It’s a lemon/lime/orange concoction and is lovely.
The staff are overly warm and welcoming and not in a bad way. Lovely service and a lovely treat on a hot day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do visit if you are crazy about ice-cream. Try the coconut and walnut flavours - they taste divine. Their ice-cream cone is also quite light and crunchy so take that if possible and not the cup. There is seating at the back for you to relax while you enjoy your Santini's Gelado.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Begun by Italian immigrant Attilio Santini in 1949 Gelados Santini now inhabits six storefronts from Chiado to Porto, and although some will suggest world-class quality the reality is that the product is merely average while service is perfunctory.
Originally in Praia do Tamariz, and now under the ownership of Eduardo Santini, it is in an area of high foot traffic that guests are invited to duck in for cup or cone, scoops rather than spatulas packing dense balls of Dulce de Leche and Fig with bits of ground Fruit.
