This place was our final dinner in Porto and what a place. This was a real grande finale ! Highest recommendation to go there.
The tastes, the quality of produce, the presentation, all top notch! Plus, a killer view of the city!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Christmas day lunch here and were very impressed. Good food, good wine, and not too expensive considering. The whole of World of Wine is well worth worth a visit, super scenic location, lots of bars and cafés and craft shops in addition to The Golden Catch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The freshest and best tempura cod fish I ever had. My husband had the fish soup which was delicious and beautifully presented. The sweet potatoes chips were divine. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

The WOW complex is more touristic and not what we usually look for, but it was convenient for last minute walk-in dinner plans after our port wine tour and we had an early flight the next day. The service felt rushed to the point it made my partner and I very uncomfortable and it was difficult to relax and enjoy our time there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great lunch at Golden Catch recently. Our server was Rachel and she helped us navigate the menus and select the right wine for the meal. My wife is a vegetarian, so it's a good choice for us because they share a kitchen with Root & Vine, a vegetarian restaurant, so you can order from either menu. I expected the prices to be higher since it's a tourist destination, but the prices were in line with other upscale dining options in the city.

- Food is delicious. I took the octopus, which was incredibly soft and perfectly cooked.
- Service is perfect, you'll feel home. Waitresses know how to do their job and are very efficient.
- Very nice wine choice
- Price is above average for Porto, but definitely worth it in my opinion
I highly recommend this place!
