★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If it's your first visit, walk around the village and finish off at the café at the bottom. You can stay the night for 130 euro. You can park 200 meters back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully preserved schist village, it is a reference for the mountain tourism nation wide in Portugal. Pay attention to the little statues carved on the façades. It started with Carlos Rodrigues (1928-2010), deceased inhabitant and is still an ongoing art affair in the village. There are nice trekking routes, well marked, just follow the signs. The “penedo dos corvos” way is tricky as in slippery, therefore use proper shoes.
