★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen in my life. Absolutely breathtaking natural site that flourishes the senses and peace with nature. Take the hiking route and see more beauty every step you go. I strongly recommend this place.

Whilst it's essentially a river beach destination well situated up in the mountains between Miranda de Corvo and Espinhal.
The restaurant located strategically on the river offers a world class Ambience run by two amazing gentleman Jaõ d Lacima and his partner Ricardo.
The restaurant is normally booked out in the summer season so be mindful to call in advance.
There food albeit traditional Portuguese is prepared in a fine dining presentation and is highly recommended, Jaõ the chef is a local TV chef personality that embraces the essence of local taste and is known to travel a 300 mile round trip to the coastal fish market to source the catch of the day, and there meat products are all organically reared produce, freshness is key to them and all there desserts are home made from scratch.
Your experience will not be disappointing.
