François vous accueille chaleureusement dans son univers et vous transmet sa passion pour les plantes et la nature. De plus, il connaît parfaitement la région et vous donne les conseils précieux pour en profiter. Le domaine couvre une très large surface, ce qui permet des ballades tranquilles à la découverte de la faune et de la flore. Pour se rafraichir vous aurez le choix entre le fleuve Guadiana ou la piscine. Les installations sont rustiques mais pas sommaires, on s'y sent bien. Allez-y si : - vous voulez découvrir la région et profiter d'un point de chute exceptionnel - vous aimez la nature - vous aimez la tranquillité N'y allez pas si : - vous attendez d'un agro-tourismo les mêmes services qu'un 5 étoiles sur la côte - vous avez peur de salir votre voiture - vous êtes fans de Bayer-Monsanto A beautiful place and very well placed to discover this wild and authentic region of Portugal. François warmly welcomes you to his world and conveys his passion for plants and nature. In addition, he knows the area very well and gives you the precious advice to enjoy it. The area covers a very large area, which allows quiet walks to discover the fauna and flora. To refresh you will have the choice between the Guadiana river or the swimming pool. The facilities are rustic but not basic, it feels good. Go there if: - you want to discover the region and enjoy an exceptional base - Do you like nature - you like tranquility Do not go there if: - you expect an agro-tourismo the same services as a 5-star on the coast - you are afraid of dirtying your car - you are Bayer-Monsanto fans

The host Francois was great full of information and doing everything environmentally friendly. He entertained us every Moring for Breakfast. On my birthday he even made me an Irish breakfast, wonderful place, loved it. A Great place to get away too.

But wasn't at all impressed with the owner We were the only guests and you could tell he wasn't pleased that we turned up. Felt like intruders. We were planning to have a meal in Mertola. But were then sort of talked in to having a meal at the Herdade. Don't get me wrong i'm happy with any food. But it was what the owner charged for the spaghetti And the Salad! The bottle of wine we could have bought down the village shop for 5€. And in the small restaurant authentic comido alentejano would have been a lot cheaper What a shame we weren't made welcome because the place has so much to offer. It could have been heaven on earth
