D	Den Himpleman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very hard to get through on the phone I have been on the phone for over a hour trying to make appointments for x Ray and scan so I can have a replacement knee tried appointments but think the there is something wrong with the line trying accounts now waiting over a hour absolutely stupid and this is a private hospital
L	Lisa Rossmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to see a gynecologist at this hospital for a general checkup. 5 days before I was supposed to have the appointment they rescheduled the appointment via SMS and told me it was now on a different time, same day. Next day I get a call and they tell me the appointment was moved to the next day. They rescheduled 2x within very short notice. Luckily I am self-employed and had no meetings and was able to go the appointment spontaneously. The checkin took nearly 1 hour because I had to wait so long which nearly made me miss the appointment. At least the doctor seemed to be very professional. I scheduled two more appointments with her and suddenly these appointments were rescheduled again - even though the doctor scheduled them on purpose on those two dates. I emailed them and asked them why they moved the appointment without even asking whether I am available and that they need to be on different dates. Did not here back from them. What a shame - I found a gynecologist I felt comfortable with - now the women from the front desk are too ignorant to call or reply. Due to the very bad service of the front-desk ladies who are usually supposed to take care of scheduling appointments I will not go there again and look for another doctor.
M	MARK DAY on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discussing. I had a recent heart attack and whilst in Faro ICU was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I went for an eye test and had poor results with the pressure tests and was advised to seek medical help. I applied for an appointment and was given one for 2 months time. I am not prepared to gamble with my eyesight for that long
T	Tomás on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give 0 stars if I could. Worst service ever. The receptionists don't know a thing and they made me waist so much time. No communication. You should hire people with experience or at least give them a proper training. Even the doctor said they don't know nothing. What a shame! I'm never going back to this hospital
S	Sofie Berger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an appointment 4.20pm in HPA Alvor but I had to wait until 6pm for my turn. I asked the staff if something had happened but they said that this is normal. I felt stressed since I had other plans for the evening and expected much better service since its a privat hospital and cost a lot to visit. I also feel sad for the staff who have to work with these poor conditions every day.

Other than that, the Doctors of the ICU seemed competent enough and we were lucky to meet one nurse that was truly helpful. If you need medical after-hospital care, do not provide yourself from this hospital. They sell 20 euro medication 100 euro and will rent you a wheelchair for its buying price.

Make an appointment - turn up - waiting queue - fill in form - pay consultancy fee - go to doctor who is tied up!.. and can't see me as appointment - go back to reception - get refund! Never go back again. Awful service and I would have spent thousands here on general health issues and 2 knee replacements!
A	Anne Franssen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My ankle was broken and it needed to be operated super quick. The day after the intake I could already get the surgery. Had to arrive at 16.00 but because of the emergency they had to fit me in the schedule and I had to wait till 22.00 for the surgery. The nurses and doctors were all super friendly and good! They all spoke English and were very helpful and comforting me. Except for the long waiting everything went perfect. I can highly recommend this hospital.
