+ Mattress was Hard which was very suitable for me. Bath was clean and had parking space. Staff was nice. We had a car so the place was good. Without car might be a bit hard to find.
- Breakfast is very basic but considering price was good. Check in place is changing after 6 pm which was annoying since we did not get any heads up. No shampoo in bath. The info desk also talked about the city nonstop at 1 am! come on seriously?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a good surprise, specially taking in count the price. The AC works better than in most 4* hotels I've stayed, the bed is stiff but very comfortable, which is what I prefer, the bathroom has plenty of space and the room is simple but has everything that I would ever need in a one night stay, including a very good breakfast (hostel style breakfast), strong Wi-Fi and parking in the street.
Things that weren't so great: the television has a very bad reception quality, it's not a problem for me personally, but it could be for other guests; the bed lamp in my room wasn't working; there's no shampoo (not a problem for me personally) and the shower gel isn't adequate to take a bath regularly (it's actually handsoap, so it's gonna dry your skin if you use it regularly). Also, the previous guests smoked in the bathroom, but that is something that the hotel can't control and taking off the smell is quite hard and takes days, they should apply a fine for guests that smoke inside the facilities, not only because is against the law, but because destroys the experience for future guests.
Conclusion, it's a charming place, specially if it's just for two or three nights maximum, allows you to visit Braga and Guimarães is a very fast pace and is convenient for shopping and others forms of entertainment.
