★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn't fault hotel. Room very clean and housekeeping excellent. Room also has kettle, microwave and hob. Sea view lovely. Pool area very clean and food served at pool is very nice. Staff very pleasant, a few exceptions.
Indoor pool and jacuzzi, jacuzzi for over 12yr old but could never use it as it was full of kids messing around. Sign up telling guests not to reserve beds at pool and everyday we experienced guests going without beds because people put towels on them and never returned till the sun was going in, very selfish act and nothing was done to remove these towels.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place right off the train Monte Estoril station. Easy 20 minute walk to the historic district, and beaches the other side of the train station. Amazing views of the ocean and beaches below. Breakfast buffet was delicious with fruit, pastries, breads, eggs, meats, and cereal. All the staff focused on making sure we had a great experience, from checkin to the restaurant to the pool attendants. We loved the stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can only say that it was amazing holiday. View of the room was amazing, so peaceful. Room was nice and clean. We had no problem about room or service. People are lovely and helpful. Location of the hotel is perfect, train station is just in front of the hotel and 20 min to Lisbon by train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've spend 6 days at this hotel. It's fairly dated but for what you pay in my opinion this is an excellent place for family holiday. You have two swimming pools, indoor and outdoor. Ten minutes to the beach. Rooms have small kitchen that has a job, fridge, microwave, some pots and pans. Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms pretty small. Breakfast was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a really pleasant surprise. The breakfast was good, the pools were well maintained and not too busy (July), and our room was spacious, with decent facilities & provisions. The hotel may be a little dated, especially the furnishings - but that is absolutely no reason to avoid staying here. There are a few decent restaurants in the vicinity, and the beach is a short walk away. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the hotel for 6 nights and we have a great experience.
The ocean view is great as there are no high buildings to block the view.
The breakfast we good with a variety of food, maybe the coffee and the hot chocolate can be better. It can get crowded some times.
The pool area is very good but the water can be quite cold some times.
The stuff was very friendly and helpful.
The main negative of the hotel is that it looks outdated in all the areas of the hotel. Maybe they need to invest on minor modifications on the decoration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another top end hotel. Again have stayed here many many times. Unless anything has changed recently, it's an apart hotel with spacious soundproof rooms equipped with a small kitchen. Me and my girlfriends have tended to use the hotel more as a base - a morning beside the pools, lunch al fresco at a bar overlooking the beach, an evening in Lisbon. It's built on a knoll overlooking the broad expanse of the River Tagus and high enough above the main road to eliminate noise pollution. Monte Estoril is roughly equidistant between Lisbon and Cascaise. There's a narrow gauge railway running between the main road down below and the promenade (the station's a five minute walk away down a side road) giving safe - police are inevitably on board - and easy access to Lisbon and all points east and west. The best rooms look westward towards the shoreline, the hotel's grounds, palm trees and a white painted villa. The view from those facing east is slightly more industrial - buildings, a fuller view of the main road etc. Avoid those looking landward - the view is of a sea of aluminium hot air extracts. The poolside area is exceptionally well though out, kept in pristine condition and in the past also used to host typico Portuguese evenings - good food - some rich dishes typical of North Eastern Brasil( pato no tucupi - a duck jambo like dish - and the like) and unlimited wine at large mixed tables. Well worth booking which we did. Casual but smart 'lounge wear' tie and jacket preferred. There are traditional restaurants nearby with Fado late at night and a casino a few ks east if you fancy a flutter. For me, it's the only place to stay in the vicinity, with a number of 'beachside' rustic eateries nearby, but close enough to historical attractions like Belem and a major city when ones' business commitments or social requirements demands formal dining, watching a gig or a production at the Colleseum, shopping for Canali or haute couture, or maxing out at Cartier!
