R	Rina Zirić on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The value for money is poor. In front of the hotel it says hotel has 4 stars but it deserves only two, if even so. The hair dryer doesn't work and I have just washed my hair. The carpets are dirty with holes, as well as the curtains. It was cold with no heating. The rooms are far from the ones on the web site. Breakfast is poor with just a couple of peaces of food to choose from. Orange juice not natural with too much sugar. No eggs, no coffee machine. The hotel needs a complete renovation and investments to improve guest experience, in the interior as well as in staff skills. Only the receptionist speaks english. Friendly but marely doing their jobs. Nice panoramic view of Porto!
J	John Brooks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really appreciated this gem. The hotel is an unusual mix of friendly staff, old fashioned exotic wallpaper, comfortable beds and magnificent view. In most EU cities prices for our wonderful spacious room (1004) would be quadruple. The hotel might be described as retro, and so it is, completely lovely, last refitted 40 years ago. The restaurant serves excellent tasty food in an environment remarkable for the classy dated interior and of course, a city view that is hard to beat. However, note that the night club across the road booms away until dawn.

S	Salvatore Pisanu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is great, I think a bit old but nice. The bed I got was broke and old, too much noises everytine I move during the night or I got up. Sounds of old woods. For to charge phone, cameras, power bank there was only 2 spots, one in the room and one in the toilet, this made all complicated. It was better if it was available a small fridge inside the room, but there is not. Price a bit high for to be in Portugal. The view from the 10th floor is amazing but the curtain of the window was a bit broke unfortunately. The room was warm enough. The breakfast at the 13th floor was too much poor, the quality of the food was very cheap. The orange juice was not really good but something that make you think if it is orange or what. The view is amazing by the way. The reception is fine and they provide a wonderful service (the receptionist), very kind and professional. The position is good and almost central. Just fix the bed, change mattress, change ingredients for the breakfast and fix for to have more charge spots, so I can give 4 stars. Thank you.
R	Ray S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Look, if you're looking for a hotel in pristine condition, this is perhaps not the place for you but if you enjoy a hotel with character and fantastic views then I highly recommend a stay here. I enjoyed speaking to Portuguese guests and a special than you to multi-lingual Pedro who was very informative and engaging. As usual, treat people with respect and you will get the best out of them.
