★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, next to douaro river, close to all the main places to visit . We didn’t need the car. There is a supermarket near by. The stuff were professional and kind. The room was nice and quiet. Breakfast was great, lot of tasty options. Because it is a renovated old hotel, there is no water view from the regular rooms. Loved it.very recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel, an old fish market, rebuild for hotel. The entrance for your room is a tunnel(!?) Splendid breakfast and atnight a nice bar for cocktails. The room are very OK and the staff too. In front of the hotel public transport. Take the 500 to the city, but far better is to take the classic tram nr 1, to the city or the beach (Foz).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location with good service! Styleful reception! Was a pleasant surprise to find a postcard in room with sweets: traditional raisins for New Year celebration , strawberry and brownies! Service was excellent!

Breakfast is good with a big selection of food.
Decent cafe bar!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are fairly clean but not well maintained. Paint is peeling here and there and shower has yellow deposits of grime. The doors of the neighbors slam hard, startling you awake and the walls shake like a house of cards. The doors is a real problem for a good night's sleep and absolutely not soundproof. The photos are far more nicer than reality. 4 star for staff.
