I haven't been there but looking at the reviews it sounds pretty bad

Good food, good prices, very slow service

Very beautiful place with great food and very atencious and kind barmen. I will come back soon.

Very bad. Cold food. Overcooked /reheated fish. Forgot our beverage. The other guests got even worse service than us. Cheap though

I ordered grilled salmon and shellfish soup. Salmon wasn't that bad, but potatoes, broccoli and carrot were cold. Soup wasn't good at all.

You can find cheaper and much better restaurants just round the corner. Every dish we’ve had was poor and too greasy. Can’t recommend at all.

Lovely food, great value for money. Waiters very friendly and attentive. Would recommend. Try the Secret of the House dessert!

Remember 1 star is the lowest score on Google. Walked in to an empty restaurant with young children just after 7pm. Ordered drinks, starters, and mains. Drinks arrived no problems and shortly after starters were delivered. Food was quite good so feel sorry for the cook. Restaurant started to fill up and after about a half hour wait the kids food arrived. At around 8.25 my wife was concerned that our mains had been forgotten. Everyone around us was looking like they were waiting and our empty plates were still on the table. My wife decided to go to the counter to ask about our mains. It was then that the waiter went to the kitchen only to tell us that our choice was no longer available after waiting about 75 minutes. At this point we reordered something else. We then waited again with dirty plates in front of us until about 9.05 when we decided to call it time. We complained about the wait at which point the meals miraculously arrived at the bar. By this point we were totally fed up and said forget it. We paid for the food and drinks we had and the waiter obviously felt bad as he offered the food to take away so I accepted. When he brought it to the counter the boss told him we hadn't paid for it and they started arguing so we walked out. On the next table a family with really young kids had been waiting about 40 minutes and their plates hadn't even been turned over. I hope they got out of there before it was too late. Never walked out of a restaurant before but looking at the reviews it seems to happen quite a lot at the Ideal Resaurant.
