★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of my favourites hotels in Algarve.
The building is *literally* by the beach, you open the window and you'll see the sea. You put the step out and you're in the sand. There isn't any other like this.
The rooms are great (check the photos) and so are the services and the prices!
There's another building across the road (which belongs to the same hotel) where you'll find the hotel pool, if needed (why would one go there in the first place, with a beach like this 0 meters away?).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel v clean and staff friendly and helpfull. We have stayed in both hotels. The Praia is right on the beach with lovely rooms. However no facilities. Bar , pool . evening meal are all at the other inatel a short distance away up a slight hill. This hotel slightly dated but v clean. It is also much cheaper than the Praia. The food is only like warm and v monotonous.Another issue can be the large number of French who book en mass for the whole spring and summer. They can be v noisy and any entertainment is geared to their taste. However they do not tend to use the pool area so that remains nice and quiet. The situation of this hotel is great as town is only a short walk away.we have stayed here many times and enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast first morning was stone cold .
Improved a bit the next few days although choice wasn't the best but I think that's because it was mid December and not so many people about

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just dropped in for a look. Helpful lady on reception and got a brochure. Decided to have tea and treats on the terrace with sand/sea down the steps. Excellent value and what a treat. ?
