★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situada na parte baixa e histórica de Tancos, mesmo em frente ao rio Tejo, junto ao cais ergue-se a Igreja da Misericórdia, de bela fachada renascentista, hoje transformada interiormente em Centro Cultural Municipal de Tancos, espaço onde decorrem várias atividades culturais e recreativas. Segundo a inscrição do portal do templo, a igreja ficou concluída em 1585, pensa-se que a mando de D. Francisco de Ataíde, primeiro Conde de Atalaia, que na época era o provedor.
 Situated in the low and historic part of Tancos, right in front of the Tagus River, next to the pier stands the Church of Misericórdia, with a beautiful Renaissance facade, today transformed internally into the Municipal Cultural Center of Tancos, a space where various cultural and recreational activities take place .
