★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose this restaurant after reading the many positive reviews on TripAdvisor and were not left disappointed. The layout + decor are modern and it is in a good central location. We were served by the wonderful Mario who made our experience all the more enjoyable with his friendly + welcoming demeanor. The food - Caprese pizza, beef lasagne, beef cannelloni and carbonara were all made to a good standard and everyone enjoyed their meals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and was a memorable meal whilst in Albufeira.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Barca was a great visit, we visited twice during our week stay at Albufeira, me and my boyfriend loved the food and the service was great. I had on the first night tomato soup, my boyfriend had the margarita pizza on both nights and on the second night i had the spaghetti carbonara and honestly it was probably the best soup and carbonara i’ve had. the pizza was delicious and we also had i side of “bread with garlic and cheese” aka cheesy garlic bread and it was honestly so good, if we ever go back to the old town we will definitely revisit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Barca is definitely the best Italian restaurant in Portugal.
The sort of pizzas is magnificent, and the pastas are amazing. The seafood pasta is highly recommended.
The appetizers are so good, but so good that it's better to take a few people to try it all and still be able to go for the main dishes.
The service is supreme, and the atmosphere transports you to Venice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s definitely worth visiting if you want to eat some Italian food. The pizza as well as tuna salad were fresh and tasty. We took advantage of happy hours menu and paid only 15 euro.
The lady from service was super nice.
