★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice cafe, which must be good because a lot of locals eating there. You can get freshly made sandwiches or full meals. Sardines looked nice. Tea, coffee, beer and spirits. Closes at 5pm. Just past the Geordie Viking Pub.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent fish menu, beautifully cooked and seasoned with garlic and olive oil. Don't think you will find better seafood in town at this price point. Fish fillet was obscenely large. Definitely coming back. Great cold beer on tap too

Seriously amazing fresh food
The steaks and lamb chops are also great
Infact there is nothing bad about here only great food and great service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want quantity this is the place for you. The portions are enormous and one of our meals was extremely good. The lamb chops were plentiful and cooked to perfection. The steak however did not taste like any fillet steak I have ever eaten and I was unable to eat it. . it was more like tough rump and the sauce was not as I would expect peppercorn sauce to be. The owner could not have tried harder to.please us and was warm welcoming and seemed genuinely upset that I had not enjoyed my meal.

Food is always good and a warm welcome guaranteed - been dining here 20 years and its never disappointed. Had a fabulous Portuguese Steak on Tuesday.
