Sencillamente espectacular.
Subida exigente, que hay que llevar con tranquilidad. No hace falta estar preparad@ físicamente, pero sí hay que saber llevarla con tranquilidad. Si hace mucho calor, como pasé yo, llevad abundante agua.

Simply spectacular.
Demanding climb, which must be carried with ease. It is not necessary to be physically prepared, but you do have to know how to take it with ease. If it is very hot, as I did, bring plenty of water.

This swamp is worth visiting. Don't forget to throw a rock and try to stay on top of the big rock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lac joli à voir, endroit sympathique pour un pique nique. Départ de randonnée après à Bouça dos Homens. Attention, la montée au lac du côté du sanctuaire est interdit car dangereux en raison des chutes de pierres (qui ont détruits une portion du sentier).
Nice lake to see, nice place for a picnic. Departure of the hike afterwards to Bouça dos Homens. Be careful, the climb to the lake on the side of the sanctuary is prohibited because it is dangerous due to falling rocks (which destroyed a portion of the trail).

Subida bem íngreme e por caminho de pedra e terra batida. Caminhada algo desafiante, talvez demore uns 40min a chegar ao topo, isto a um ritmo de caminhada baixo onde se pode observar a paisagem envolvente.
O início do trilho fica na parte traseira do santuário junto aos WC.
Se tiver sorte quando chegar à lagoa pode encontrar as vacas a banharem-se na água.
Tenha muita atenção e evite banhos naquela água, pois trata-se de água parada onde as vacas tomam banho e por vezes fazem as suas necessidades, logo transforma a água da lagoa num sítio perigoso a banhos.
Ainda assim recomendo a visita à lagoa.
Quiet and quite beautiful.
Very steep climb and on a stone and dirt road. A somewhat challenging walk, it may take about 40 minutes to reach the top, at a low walking pace where you can observe the surrounding landscape.
The trail starts at the rear of the sanctuary next to the WC.
If you're lucky when you get to the lagoon, you can find the cows bathing in the water.
Be very careful and avoid bathing in that water, as it is standing water where cows bathe and sometimes do their own thing, so it turns the pond water into a dangerous place for bathing.
I still recommend visiting the lagoon.

Always uphill trail that takes 45 min but it's worth it, as the view is superb. Stay until sunset.
