Just spent two fruitful hours buying patio furniture and home improvement equipment, patiently guided and advised by Vitor who was helpful and resourceful. The whole team was friendly, effective and efficient - and not pushy. This was a really good shopping experience

Absolutely terrible returns service. I bought a gas heater that was faulty & leaking gas, they would not exchange it or give me my money back. They wanted to send it for repair. It took over 40 minutes to get zero satisfaction, even though consumer rights state you are entitled to a full refund with in 30 days of purchase or faulty goods.

Worst experience ever! Portugal and online sales is still stuck in the 90s. Don't order ONLINE with them! Ordered something online but item was not available in stock. Promised information about delivery never happened. The excuse was that the store stock and the website are not updated - well then don't offer online sales if your processes are not aligned!!! Delivery promised end of January, I called - got told delivery in on the 02.02 - called to confirm on the 02.02 (item had been in stock again) - got told again delivery is on the 12.02 - how horrible can you handle this situation, where your customer has to take care of an order. And you have my money since the online purchase. Horrible experience.

Always like the products in here but unfortunately the customer service is clearly lacking. The staff are good and pleasant, when you can get them but that's the problem, they avoid you at all costs. I've visited a number of times and you start to accept the staff are not trained in customer services simply because they avoid you most of the time. For example I went last week looking for angle grinder blades and I eventually found them, however they were locked behind a combination lock. I walked around the full shop 3 times and not 1 member of staff were visible or willing to assist. I finally found a girl who I asked for help and she gave no reason of why she couldn't help but radio called someone and told me some one would be there soon. I then waited at the area and no-one showed up, after 10 minutes I gave up and actually had to remove the whole stack of blades from the metal frame,still locked on the bar and bring it to the till to pay and ask them to open the lock so I could buy them. I have had many conversations amongst friends who get the same experience and therefore have stopped going to the shop in Portimão. I just think if Leroy management intervened and trained the staff to look out and approach customers who are clearly struggling to find tools etc and not try avoid them every single time, it would be a much better experience and your sales and reputation would rise sharply. I don't normally complain , feel free to check any other reviews I've posted and you will see I'm normally complimentary of businesses,but I've had enough of just badly trained staff. It's not necessarily their faults. Please highlight and train your staff to the standard that people expect in these times. Thank you

The staff were fantastic and went over and beyond their role to help, we were 3 units short on our order and they phoned another store to reserve and arrange collection. Can't recommend them enough

Plenty of choices, but it was hard to negotiate the aisles because there was a lot of product sitting on the floor waiting to be put away.

Attention Leroy Merlin customers: Take into account, before making your purchases regarding furniture for use in Gardens or outside your home, that although Leroy informs you that your purchase is insured against defects or failures that occur for a period of 2 years, this does not work as it should be !! See my account below: I acquired a table for external use, according to the photos attached to this text, and it was implied in that acquisition that the said furniture would have a guarantee against defects or failures, for 2 years, as is commonplace. After 4 months of use, even though I was careful to protect the furniture with several coats of varnish, I started to notice a sharp deformation in the wood of the furniture. I made a request for verification of the occurrence immediately, therefore in the 4th month after acquisition, request that by the way has already changed the original numbering generated in the 1st time, and currently, although under the 2nd numbering I have not obtained until the moment, that is, 3 years after purchase no satisfaction or return, both from Leroy Merlin and the furniture manufacturer !!
