If this has ever happened to you, we have some good news : next time you have a layover in Lisbon, you will most likely have a much better experience. In this article, we tell you all about how to fill up your waiting time with a lot of fun and cool exploring.

Decent airport that's pretty easy for transit flights. Security and Immigration lines often move pretty quick. Free Wi-Fi which seemed to work pretty well. More food options in the gate areas would be nice although there is a centralized area "Food Court"... Of course if you would like to purchase "Canned Fish".. Head to the N Gates and knock yourself out..

Immigration was a nightmare. 3 hours with only 4 personnel working. Missed flight due to this. Many travelors were unaware of the Passenger Locator/Vaccination requirements. They should have allowed persons with their paperwork in order a "fast pass." This did not happen and made this airport an immigration disaster. Sorry I have to go through it again to leave. Not happy at all.

Absolutely jam-packed even as early as 6am. Queues were absolutely massive and long so unless you buy fast track, then be prepared to queue for a very long time. Not any particular fault of anybodys but it is what it is and you get what you paid for. The staff were helpful though.

Upon entry had to spend 3 hours waiting in que for immigration due to exceptional mismanagement of staff. I thought this was a one off but upon return flight again had to wait 1 hour with plane staff to pass immigration again, queing for huge extended periods seems to be an intended horrible part of this airport by design and terrible management.

Terminal 2. You can go there by bus from terminal 1, its free and there is one leaving ruffely every 10 min. Security is very fast. After security you have duty free and eating and gifting shops. After that if you are going through passport control you only have a maximum of 3 policeman so it nor that it takes to much time but you can be there for 15min so take it into consideration.

Immigration was a nightmare. It took 2 hours to get through. Not enough staff checking passports between 1pm and 2pm. Progress improved after 2pm. I hope they enjoyed their lunch whilst we waited ?

Small, efficient, and easy! Arrived 2 hours before my flight and it literally took us 40 minutes to check in, go through security and get to my gate. Also a good selection at the duty free and great selection of food options ?!

A very modern and clean airport with easy to navigate guides around and good facilities. However Terminal 2 is lacking compared to Terminal 1 whcht has the full range and can be pricery (3.80 EUR for Euros)
