★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's 2022 guys. You should be able to renew an ID card or passport online or by post and not need to wait over 10 hours just to speak to someone. Portugal acts as if we're still in ancient times. Embarrassing. Why do Portuguese passports only last 5 years as well when most places only let you travel when you have at least 6 months left... So every 4 and a half years you have to go through this horrible process. Absolute madness.
