M	Mark O'Neill on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our apartment was amazing on the 12th floor. It was clean, modern and had a huge balcony. The room was cleaned and beds made up every day. Fresh towels and linen every 3rd day. All the staff we encountered were friendly and even though we had a self catered holiday they catered for us in every way possible in a polite and professional manner. I can't speak for the food in the restaurant as I didn't have any but the bar knocks out some seriously good cocktails. The pool area is clean and quiet but it's a bit small. Saying that, we didn't have any trouble getting sun beds. The beach and Alvor town are only a stone throw away too so Luna Alvor Bay has everything you would want in a holiday destination. I would definitely recommend it and would return myself in the future.
L	Lulu Ahmad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice rooms, awful staff, disgusting food, rude staff, rude receptionist, bad location and no hospitality. Everything you want they charge you. You want to charge your phone with their charger? 15 euros and you don’t get to keep the charger. You want new towels? 1.5 euros a towel otherwise cleaning is every 3 days. You want to print something? 2 euros per page. I really didn’t like this place. You can find something nice elsewhere.
L	L I on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It serves the purpose. It's near to the beach and nicely located to the nearby little town. Breakfast is not bad, and the room size is decent. There's even a mini kitchen fully equipped if you want to cook your own food. Zero points though for the shower tough; very slow (not a good pressure) and the shower curtain... Really why??! Why shower curtains in a hotel?! How many people had showers in that bathroom and had their skins touching that sticky shower curtain??!
S	Stuart Cook on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was as we would expect and hoped for. Staff were excellent - the breakfast is vast in terms of choice and great quality. Some of the furniture in the rooms is a little tired (if you are a whinger) but useable and absolutely ok for us but some may choose to disapprove. I feel guilty for mentioning the above but at least whingers are forewarned and I am being fair and honest. Cleanliness was excellent also. Lovely treatment of my partner for her birthday - a big thank you for that ???? Our transfer did not turn up but that is not the hotels fault as it was not in any way connected to the hotel, however, the hotel helped us out by calling us a taxi - thank you so much ?☺️
D	Daire Goodwin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic rooms. Very clean, modern and spacious. Not too keen on reception area, pool and breakfast area. But that didn't bother me as I don't use them. Immediate area outside needs a bit of work, lots of potholes and forced to walk on road initially and poor footpaths if heading toward town. Not an huge issue and nothing to do with hotel but worth considering if elderly or not good on your feet.

The pool area is small but with the magnificent beach only 100 yards away we didn't use it anyway. There did always seem to be a bed available if you wanted one though. We had breakfast in the hotel which was fine. Plenty of choice and variety. There is a Happy Hour in the bar every night with a decent discount on all drinks. And although we didn't see it there was advertising for a few nights of entertainment in the bar. This is our 3rd visit to this hotel and due to the location we will definitely return.

Staff friendly and helpful, good understanding of English which is helpful as my Portuguese is minimal It's a bit annoying that you can't get to a WC or bar while poolside and have to dress to reenter the hotel to use the facilities. Due to covid there is no lift sharing so can be a bit of a wait if time it wrong, okay if you are able to use stairs but for those that can't it's a bit hit and miss how long have to stand to wait for.

Staff were welcoming and helpful when we chose to stay an extra night but had to switch rooms. Breakfast was good with usual buffet selection. We would happily return for a longer visit. Nice views from not only our first room with sea views but second with estuary and hills.
