b	billy hatton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved it,private,clean,large apartment,well equipped,minor problems were lift out of order and quite a long walk to town and beach,quite hilly,not great if you're disabled although taxis are plentiful and cheap, excellent food,beer and people, would have given 5 stars if not for lift breakdown.
S	Sandra carroll synnott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived on Friday 22nd. First impressions were grim. No one in reception. Our bus driver rang the out of hours number (at 6pm we were not out of hours). Waited 20 minutes for someone to come with a key. The rooms are very dated. And although listed on all sites, there was no washing machine. We asked the guy who gave us keys about the snack bar as we had kids with us and we're informed the snackbar was closed. Apparently due to new laws they had to refurbish. Nearest shop was 10 minutes away. Would NOT recommend this place especially if you have children. Reception was never open and no supervision around the premises/pool. Dead rat found in pool area mid week but there was no one to tell... very poor quality of standard.. On a good note. We loved Alvor. Beautiful beach and town. Lovely little bars and bistros.
