★ ★ ★ ★ ★ And old market turned into a great amusement area with bars, restaurants and, still, a frsh food market area. Overlooking the sand banks/islands that are just across.
Magnificent place for a breakfast, a late morning coffee, lunch, late afternoon drink or dinner. Perfect for several hours of the day. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indoor market along the water, with 2 sections. One seafood,the other veggies, cheeses,and artisanal food products. Good selection. Did not see a bakery inside, but there were couple bakeries stores near by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The incredibly busy outdoor market on Saturdays is a joy to stroll around.
Fresh, farm or home-grown fruit and vegetables are there in abundance, but also local, lavender honey and lots of traditional Algarve Bola, to bring home or picnic on at the available seating just past the market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing assortment of products in both sides of the market. The freshest fish and extremely cheap. On Saturday the outdoor market gets busy and best to arrive early. People are friendly and there are many cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy a drink or meal. Also a perfect place to go for a stroll around town!

On Saturday is even better because local producers join the show, setting up their stalls in the front of the market building, facing the sea and offering all sort of fresh veg, fruits, honey and much more..
