Disliked: pitches were on poor ground, no hardstanding booked 2 nights only stayed 1, no facilities open (except pool) due to Covid-19 yet camp was open for business, very dissappointing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Freindly welcome from English speaking receptionist and also good with giving advice about locality. Great location on the local cycle route and easy walking or cycling along cycle path to Praia de Mira where there is a fantastic beach. Also check out the ice cream parlour and bar opposite the seafaring statue on the seafront. Loved the campsite bar. Fabulous atmosphere, quality simple cooking and welcoming staff. Pitches amongst pine trees. Sanitary facilities basic but adequate and clean. Excellent swimming pool with bar. Overall good value and would stay here again.

Disliked: Poorly defined pitches, very old power boxes some only housing 30 year old 2 pin sockets. Also the electric boxes are locked so the event of a breaker requiring a reset- impossible!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liked: Good facilities overall and good location near beach and town. Plenty of space even in August (2021). Swimming pool a big plus and not crowded. Staff were friendly and obliging. Nice setting with pine trees and soft sandy ground.
Disliked: Cleaning staff closed our nearest shower/toilet every day about 1030am, just when we wanted to use it! So we had to walk to the next block. The shop was small with limited choice. Limited shady spots.
