★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a little gem of a place. Just five well presented rooms with ample space. Lovely breakfast in the mornings. There are small but good restaurants nearby. It is just outside the old town but not too far, easy walk. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unfortunate experience! Looked for funky; got sketchy. No one on the desk at 4 PM. Door code provided did not work [Even very helpful Porto neighbours could not open the door.]Telephone numbers provided - busy or no answer. A few hours later and after we finally secured entrance and made contact, a "person" arrived. By now as the elevator had no lights, we were no longer interested in remaining. We had arrived. The Miragiai staff had not, nor was the elevator safe. Cost us three nights accommodation [389 euros] as, of course we had not cancelled 24 hours prior. Hotel protected; tourists not! By the way, found less expensive, very adequate and well located accommodation with helpful staff and had three delightful days in Porto and up the Douro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing experience. Had a booking for June 2020 but were not able to travel due to closed boarders. Were promised that we could use the amount paid as credit for a stay until the end of this year, but the Hotel is not answering to various e-Mails, even as I was offering to significantly reduce our credit, presumably either due to serious financial trouble or to complete disrespect of their customers. Decide for yourself if you want to trust such a disregarding establishment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big clean room with small kitchen. The hotel close to center of Porto. Easy walking distance to all interesting tourist places. Public parking 3 days for 20 Euro about 100 meters down on the road. Good breakfast and nice service.
