★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was PRETTY AMAZING experience! They had very good art inside. Very impressive! The representation of things were quite stunned. They have mini boat trip with historical audio that is really amazing. I'm amazed by this place and I came here to give 5 starts. It would be very nice if they could add something about Pirates during Caribbean times

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really original museum to explain you the history of Portugal navegating the seas and exploring the world. The presentation and figures of the ship travel were great.
However it is quite expensive and unfortunately many of the interactive devices in the intro park did not work.
I recommend it specially for kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A truly fun and interesting attraction which reveals so much of Portugal's history. It was fascinating to learn how integral Portugal was in discovering foreign land, cultures, and paving the way for trade routes between east and west civilisations.
The canal boat ride 'through the ages' was the highlight. Being indoors, this is a good option if the weather is bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth visiting!!! The beginning of the exposition is nice but at the end something breathtaking is waiting for you- a boat tour (in real water!!!) throughout a Portuguese history. Capturing, informative, spectacular!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great experience to live and discove the Portuguese great history in exploring the world. The journey includes an immersive trip using a small boat which is the best part. Although the finishing of some experiments was not as expected but the total experience is great and rally fair for the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting and creative exhibitions, covering a vast amount of history and geography. Very interactive, good for kids (and adults - I am 22 and had lots of fun). The highlight was the boat ride. 22 minutes through various scenes all over the world. Beautifully designed. Felt like I was on a Disney ride. It is very slow though, so not scary at all.
My only criticism is that the history is a very pro-Portuguese perspective, and glosses over some of the more contentious aspects. The boat ride history ends with the Portuguese conquest of Brazil, and the establishment of mining industries and sugar plantations but makes no mention whatsoever of slavery or war - 2 central aspects of Portuguese imperial and mercantile power. I'm a History student so it stuck out to me that the rest of the place was really detailed and meticulous when it came to things like navigational instruments, life at sea, and trade, but something as big (and admittedly difficult to handle but necessary) as slavery wasn't mentioned.
Otherwise great fun, definitely recommend!
