There are places that we easily understand as ours. The aroeira hill is certainly one of them. located on one of the most beautiful coasts in Portugal, this is an almost magical place, where silence, calm and sympathy prevail. We easily abstract ourselves from the universe when we get there. The blue of the salt water pool, reminds us of other more exotic spots and the night when it falls, leaves us in the front row of the planetarium. There we see the Moon when it is born, all the stars, the Milky Way and with a little imagination, we see much more beyond. Between Lagoa de Santo André and Sines, and with several beaches nearby, Monte da aroeira is so close to Lisbon that it is almost prohibitive not to return. The apartments are very comfortable and properly equipped. Breakfast is full of homemade jams and grandmother's eggs, accompanied by that fantastic Alentejo bread and freshly made nectars, simple but full of flavor and quality. In fact, this is a place where we can easily feel good, not only because of the tranquility, but also because the way we are received, makes us quickly feel at home. I strongly recommend a visit and with family or friends, there we are always well. And to finish mentioning that this is also the stage of the most beautiful love story, Romeo and Juliet, two inseparable 4-legged friends that are a real delight. A very special thank you to Cristiana and Céu for the always very kind way of welcoming us. Ps- if you have a chance try the cherry tomatoes produced on the hill, which are something to fall to the side. Actually try everything because here everything is worth it.
