★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Chalet de Oriol Pena situava-se na Quinta da Gafa e em finais do século XIX Oriol Pena mandou construir este chalet para sua habitação. Não tendo deixado descendência, após a sua morte o município adquiriu o imóvel em 1931, tendo sido realizadas obras de remodelação até ter sido em 1948 adaptado para Paços do Concelho.
De estilo romântico é influenciado pela tipologia de construção Suiça, com telhados inclinados e elementos gótico-renascentistas, fazendo-o parecer saído de um qualquer conto de encantar...
The Chalet of Oriol Pena was located in Quinta da Gafa and at the end of the 19th century Oriol Pena had this chalet built for his home. Having left no descendants, after his death the municipality acquired the property in 1931, and remodeling works were carried out until it was adapted in 1948 for the City Hall.
Romantic in style, it is influenced by the Swiss construction typology, with sloping roofs and Gothic-Renaissance elements, making it look like it was out of any charming tale ...
