Se encuentra en el edificio del Pacos do Concelho, que fue utilizado como Ayuntamiento, Palacio de Justicia y cárcel hasta 2004. El artista Abílio de Mattos y Silva no era nativo de Óbidos, pero sí, su mujer, María José Salavisa.
The Abílio Museum was inaugurated by María José Salavisa, the artist's wife, about 10 years ago. It is located in the Pacos do Concelho building, which was used as City Hall, Palace of Justice and prison until 2004. The artist Abílio de Mattos y Silva was not a native of Óbidos, but his wife, María José Salavisa, was.
