★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kolekcja chocalho - instrumentów które po polsku chyba nazywa się maracasami - dość że chodzi o specyficzne grzechotki. Kolekcja jest jeszcze w budowie, ale pozwala zorientować się w bogactwie kultury portugali w tej dziedzinie.
 A collection of chocalho - instruments that in Polish are probably called maracas - enough for specific rattles. The collection is still under construction, but it allows you to get an idea of the richness of Portuguese culture in this area.

Para quem quiser saber mais sobre a arte chocalheira recomendo ler a tese de doutoramento de Fernando António Monteiro de Almeida Casqueira "Sons de Alcáçovas: Estudo de uma coleção de Chocalhos", realizada no ISCTE, Lisboa em 2001.
Who gives the visit is the master rattle master, Master Penetra. For those who want to know more about rattle art I recommend reading the doctoral dissertation of Fernando António Monteiro de Almeida Casqueira "Sounds of Alcáçovas: Study of a collection of Rattles", held at ISCTE, Lisbon in 2001.

A unique museum of its kind, without a doubt. In it you find not only cowbells of all times and sizes ... The most significant are the explanations of its owner ... But to know them, it is better to visit it.

It is permanently closed. Instead, I suggest a visit to the Fabrica de Chocalhos Pardalinho, in the Industrial Area of Alcáçovas or a visit to Paço dos Henriques, in the center of the village.
