It has some interesting artefacts and is very clean and well organized, but some windows have the lights off (or broken).

A must visit for anyone wanting to know the historical roots of the municipality of Sabugal. The ticket costs €2 but includes entrance to the Castle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O museu do Sabugal instalado no edifício onde funcionava a polícia e as finanças, dispõe de 2 pisos. Um auditório no piso inferior, e o museu no piso superior onde retracta a história na longa diacronia da presença humana no Sabugal.
Em paralelo existe também um espaço destinado a exposições temporárias.
O preço do bilhete inclui: visita ao castelo e museu, e é adquirido na bilheteira que fica à entrada do castelo.
The Sabugal Museum, installed in the building where the police and finance used to function, has 2 floors. An auditorium on the lower floor, and the museum on the upper floor where it portrays history in the long diachrony of human presence in Sabugal.
In parallel, there is also a space for temporary exhibitions.
The ticket price includes: visit to the castle and museum, and is purchased at the ticket office located at the entrance to the castle.
