★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Núcleo SCP de Caneças foi fundado no dia 24 de Maio de 2002, sendo o Núcleo nº 225 do Sporting Clube de Portugal.
O Núcleo do Sporting Clube de Portugal de Caneças, concelho de Odivelas, realiza diversas actividades desportivas. Em 2005 organizou na Escola Secundária de Caneças um torneio de futsal em juvenis no âmbito das comemorações do segundo aniversário do Núcleo. A partir de 2009 formou uma equipa de futsal sénior. Organiza ainda provas de corrida.
O Núcleo SCP de Caneças participa ainda em actividades de solidariedade social, por ex. apoiando o Projecto “Távola Redonda” de Caneças.
A maioria dos atletas da secção de Corfebol do Sporting em 2011 era do concelho de Odivelas, e essa secção pediu apoio ao Núcleo de Caneças. Assim, a partir da época de 2011/201 a equipa de Corfebol do Sporting passou a estar associada ao Núcleo.
 The Núcleo SCP de Caneças was founded on the 24th of May 2002, being Núcleo nº 225 of Sporting Clube de Portugal.
The Nucleus of Sporting Clube de Portugal de Caneças, municipality of Odivelas, carries out various sports activities. In 2005 he organized a futsal tournament for youths at Caneças Secondary School as part of the celebrations of the Nucleus' second anniversary. From 2009 he formed a senior futsal team. It also organizes race events.
The Caneças SCP Center also participates in social solidarity activities, for example. supporting the Caneças “Távola Redonda” Project.
The majority of athletes in the Sporting Corfebol section in 2011 were from the municipality of Odivelas, and that section asked for support from the Núcleo de Caneças. Thus, from the 2011/201 season, the Sporting Korfball team became associated with the Nucleus.
