★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to try real, regional and traditional Portuguese food this is the place to go. Unpretencious food and ambience, humble and kind people. Plenty of starters (including the local serra da estrela soft cheese), 4 main dishes (and they were big portions), 3 deserts and licours. 16€ per person. What else could you ask for!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go with time and apetite! Call first to reserve or you can wait for a long time. Food is very good, I could live on the entrance alone (blood sausage, chouriço and farinheira) and home made bread. Then you can have a preset menu of wild boar, rabbit with blood rice, "calf" stued, lamb in the oven and piglet. But wait... There's more! Next you will be invited for a set of 3 deserts. It's a never ending meal very well done. Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service. We were very late. 1h late... We were welcome like very welcomed... Launch or dinner here is a ritual not a daily chore. Great food. Very good price and awesome good service. What you pay is much less than what you pay. Totally recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a decent place to eat, but the food is nothing special. The classification is pure bandwagon effect.
The menu is nice and gives a good opportunity to experiment 5 specialities. (actually its not that easy to deviate from this only option...)
The food itself Is OK, not great. They start with the cheapest stuff (Cabidela de coelho, feijoada) so that when the more expensive food (leitão and borrego) arrive you probably are already full, and those doses are smaller.
If you give this place 5 stars, then what will you give to a clean place with proper service, with proper space, a great food?

Incredibly nice staff.
You will feel right at home!
If you are Portuguese you will feel that you are back at your grandma's home tasting amazing food and surrounded by family.
If you never been in a Portuguese grandma's home this place will give you the right feeling and tastes.
Don't be afraid to ask for the"taste all" menu. You will be surprised with different dishes and will have more than enough of each. Just be careful not to get full with the first serving ?
Price will definitely surprise you at the end.
200% will be back someday.
