In the midst of the orange plantations and vineyards, away from the hustle and bustle, we invite you to enjoy the delicacies of our traditional Portuguese cuisine with a personal and contemporary flair. We only use the best regional and national ingredients for the preparation of our dishes. We get fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit from the region and from our garden. Our beef comes from the north of Portugal from the portuguese young cattle of the Mirandesa breed, which are allowed to grow up outdoors. Furthermore we attach great importance to only serving fresh fish from Atlantic, specially from Sagres. We also only work with wild caught shrimp. We offer you a tempting, creative and diverse selection of homemade desserts. On request, it is possible to serve most of our dishes gluten and / or lactose-free.
Your dining experience is completed by a wide range of Portuguese wines. We would be happy to show you our extensive and excellent wine cellar and help you choose your wine. In 2006 we started our own viticulture. From the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Aragonês, we have been able to produce excellent red wines and rosés since 2010.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice location, idyllic place to sit under the trees. Very friendly and helpfull staff, very fresh ingredients. The tuna was very fresh and delicious. The biggest downside were the mosquitos (bring your anti-insect spray) and another point to work on, is the outdated cooking style. Flavours were good but lacked that little touch of magic. The place has a lot potential but is mainly tourist-orientated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phenomenal experience Dining in the restaurant, garden in Summer or in the winery. Excellent service- every need will be met maybe even before you think it. Love the menu on the chalkboard that’s moved around. The soup, shrimp & beef stew was all phenomenal. Delicious plate of fresh vegetables as a side dish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First off, one of the best, if not the number one garden restaurant in the south of Portugal. Every single detail thought of to provide the best dinning experience possible.
The waitering crew was simply splendid, always with a detailed suggestion or a fun joke ready, smiles all around and politeness to boot.
The drinks are of the highest quality, with several offers of home cultivated wine, all of them amazing. I particularly recommend the House Rose.
The food was incredible. Simply incredible. Each bite an explosion of flavours and sensations. The menu varies with the season, and many offers have quite a limited supply as the restaurant offers only same day caught fish to keep the quality at the highest level. The deserts will take you to heaven and back.
Perhaps the best is the atmosphere. Welcoming, inviting and cozy, while keeping a high level of quality and polish to everything served.
I fully recommend O Barradas to anyone interested in fine dinning and excellent gastronomic experiences! 5 Stars!
