★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our stay in Our Homen Verde. It is a quiet and relaxed place in the middle of the nature but close enough to beautiful and interesting sites. Our kids were happy with the trampoline and we all liked an experience of staying in a yurt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We returned to this magical place 7 years after our first visit to find it even more amazing than before. Chris and Maria are perfect hosts and clearly love their lives and what they have created. The yurts are still the same, with more character now if anything. The grounds are lush, wild and bountiful. Plus now they have a very special grotto with running water flowing over statues of hindu gods. All very mystical and the perfect place for some quiet meditation whilst the kids play on the trampoline or in the treehouse. We've stayed in many similar places over the years but nothing as lovely as this. Well recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our stay at O Homem Verde. For someone who had never slept on a yurt it was a cool and romantic experience, made even more enjoyable by the surroundings. The place is beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway to get in contact with nature and enjoy a break from day to day life (I personally loved the view from the toilet and shower). At the same time, it’s very close to trails, waterfalls, river beaches and other things, if you feel the need for some activity. On top of it all, and as expected, Chris was always very nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend coming here to anyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Homem Verde is a world of wonder on a beautiful plot in the hills under Coimbra. The host is a great and friendly man, who will help you to find the natural treasures of the area, of which there are many. This place keeps giving, just like the nearby waterfalls.
