Oriundo de uma família ligada à pesca artesanal na Quarteira há várias gerações, Jorge Silva cresceu no meio ideal para ser para sempre um apreciador e conhecedor do peixe mais fresco e saboroso.

Este conhecimento e laços familiares foram os impulsos para em 2001 criar um restaurante que desse a apreciar excelentes peixes e mariscos confeccionados com o saber tradicional e a mestria culinária desta zona piscatória.

Este saudoso restaurante, situado no Largo do Mercado frente à Praça do Peixe, depressa se tornou um sucesso mas insuficiente para acomodar tantos amigos e clientes ávidos do melhor peixe e marisco na Quarteira.

Em 2006, abre o actual espaço, maior e de acordo com exigências mais actuais, na Quinta do Romão. Visitar este espaço é conhecer um pouco da história da Quarteira e das suas gentes.

Speciality is fish, fresh and the best you can get..but the meat is also five stars and amazing taste.. Will always go back for more food..

I don't mind paying much for good food, but folks please be careful about what you order and how much weight is charged on the bill! not good - you leave with a feeling of being screwed, that's why I'm giving it a one star - with 3 we were billed of total of 1.2kg fish and we were definitely not full of fish when we left. - A piece of fish that according to the bill was 0.4 kg ... was probably only 0.25kg - the manager taking the orders is slick and pushes a but when taking orders - when confronted with the notion that the weight charged was incorrect --- there was no sense of potential error or mis understanding --- it was an immediate reinforcement that everything was correct --- I get the feeling they get this more often and know that customers will back down when they're a bit assertive good - the waiters, very correct, quick, well spoken - ameijoas were done nice
