★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very good restaurant! Please ignore the nonsense reviews because they are absolutely false and untrue. We visit this place at least 2 or 3 times a year for the past 10 years and they offer very good value for the money you pay. The starters are truly magnificent: sweet and sour sardines, the best presunto de pata negra you ever tasted and the freshest ameijoas I ever had, tonight we were lucky. They specialize in arroz-dishes with fish (3 varieties), duck and goat which you can order in 1-person portions which is very rare in Portugal. They have an exquisite choice in wines, of all regions in Portugal. Let the waiter surprise you with a bottle of red or white; he will serve you a wine for €20,- that would cost €60,- or more in a restaurant in Holland or France, if they even could find this quality. Yes you pay more then in an ordinary grandmothers-kitchen but it is worth every penny.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner and staff were absolutely amazing and extremely friendly. By and large, the food was to die for. My family and I could not point to a single dish that was better since all were delicious!
In addition, the owner provided great guidance for a pairing wine (at a very reasonable price) which attests to this restaurant's mantra of serving well and great food.
Will definitely visit again when the opportunity arises.
