★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot recommend this supermarket highly enough. They have a large range of UK recognised brands giving you the confidence to try some of the local brands too.
The staff are welcoming and mostly speak English so you don't have to worry about communication barriers.
They have a lovely butchery and deli department that do great marinaded meats for the barbeque. Their local bread is superb and such good value. Healthier too!
If you are self catering in west Albufiera, Oceano is the place to go. As my friend said, doing a food shop at Oceano is the essence of our holiday. Oh, did I forget to mention, don't forget to pick up a bottle of white port to put in the freezer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has all the basics and a few extras. if you're used to large mega grocery stores as found in North America, you will be disappointed. This place has all of the things you will need for a week's stay at a local Villa. Employees were friendly, store was pretty clean, and there was plenty of parking.

It has the lot, and its fresh meat section is good, with ready made kebabs etc.
The staff are brilliant, with an embarrassing knowledge of English.
The wine, beer, spirits section is classy. Good selection of ports.
Great place that I am happy to support.

Vegetables better since it changed hands. Bread is fresh and inexpensive.
Alcohol is too expensive, so don't buy any there.
