★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The site is a beautiful area and overlooks the river but sadly it is another poorly maintained site and has a general air of neglect. It's fair to say the price for a motorhome and 2 people (no electric) was 15€ was cheaper than a lot of sites. The lady on reception was also very friendly so it wasn't a terrible experience but I doubt well return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location but the campsite is very run down and generally looks uncared for. There is nowhere to plug in computers or phones to recharge apart from one socket in the bar, not very convenient.
The river beach is very close.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best example of Portuguese hospitality on a campsite with excellent location.
Very spacious with a lot of pitches. We went there in the spring and it was very calm. We parked our motorhome just near the river.
The facilities are very complete; swimming pool - we didn't use; football field and a restaurant/cafeteria.
They also rent canoes - which we recommend. From there you can also take a bike trip until Dornes - a very beautiful place.
