★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very popular small municipal site. We stayed in February and were lucky to get in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of permanent/ long stay guests. Pitches quite close together but vary in size - guests often wait for best pitches to become available and move to them. Facilities clean with plenty of hot water. Mostly dated facilities but with one new toilet / shower block - unfortunately showers are not well designed in this and we much preferred the older more spacious ones. Popular on site cafe/ bar. No shop open on site. The site is ideally located in the lovely town of Fuseta and really close to the beach. The town has everything you could want. We loved it here and will return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Isabela was at the reception and our group of 4 had the worst customer service that I ever had in a campground. We were not authorized to stay because they didn't accepted my driver license or my passport's digital picture as a document. I understand that they can't scan a digital document, but if you have all details from a guest id, you must be able to follow with check-in procedure. Let's say I didn't allow them to scan my passport (which is something I could choose to) then she would need to get my data manually in the system. It's an absurd to only be able to check in with a scanned document.
Not only this, but Isabela was also not using a mask, as she should according to law, while handling documents and working in a closed space.
She always showed herself very annoyed and unhelpful, when we as guests were only kindly questioning for a solution, so we could stay there (which should be their focus).
Will never get back to this place, and will be spreading the word for everyone also. We ended going to Campground Ria Formosa in Cabanas de Tavira, which I recommend.

Excellent security, all the facilities you would expect as standard plus popular cafe/bar.
Heavy duty washing machines and drying area.
So close to the beach it’s practically on it.
Large choice of restaurants and bars nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice shaded site. Would be busy in high season but was half full so not a problem. Nice clean facilties. Cafe 's & bar on site and nearby as is beach.. All within 5 mins...€17 is the most we've paid in Portugal though.
