Ground is very hard so take some significantly larger tent pegs. Showers are dated and full of mosquitos.
In a good location away from Hustler and bustle. Easy drive to main area of Olhau.
Staff friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the stay. Very friendly reception. Big shade trees and hedges providing a bit of privacy. Bathrooms OK. Lovely nature park just close by - take 2 hours and enjoy the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spend one week in April and pay less than 10 EU per night. Staff is very friendly, toilets are nice and clean, hot water for showers is available all day and you can choose the pitch. There is possibility for some bike trips nearby or visit famous fish market in Olhão.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very big camping site. Very good for families or slightly older people. Most of the spots seem taken through out the year but you should find a place.
They have events as well. Friendly staff.
If you're more into simply camping it might not be for you.
On the right side is a street and a train track, you might wanna consider if you like to sleep in. I didn't mind it to be honest.
It's quiet remote, you will need a scooter/roller/bikes to access the town or explore the area.
But all in all it is a good camping site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The security agent was unprofessional informing us that the park wasn't free.
We have been there several times and nobody stopped us before.
We don't want exceptions or special treatment, but I think the management should put the information on the door or on the glass of the reception for everyone.. No need of agressive people at the entrance!!
It's a shame that the park is the only natural spot for the families of Olhão and must be paid 2.80€ per person!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big, sprawling site, no numbered pitches but lots to do if you like this type of site. Lots of long term pitches. Good facilities but water taps do not have screw connection so difficult to use

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice walks for dogs close to entrance, but site dated and shower facilities dated. A long way to entrance for better motorhime pitches at rear of site. Lots of long term caravans set up in central area. Lots trees. 15€ for 2 Adults,2 dogs, & electric, 30% discount over 30days
