I cannot understand why it is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Is it considered a division with hours of 7:12 am on weekdays? ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great look into the life of João Lucio, one of Olhão's great figures! The mansion has been beautifully restored and offer spectacular views of the Ria Formosa and surrounding countryside. Beautiful architecture and includes some interesting facts about the capital of the Ria - Olhão! The mansion and grounds can be experienced in about 45 minutes, and entrance is free!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this place is closed! ...no sign or information at gate though. Lady inside pointed at falling plaster & indicated closure - which we didn’t understand as we wanted to see the inside. She didnt seem very engaged, behaved more like it is her private house, not a public museum. She didnt speak any english. „Park“ around is a wild ground with no paths or anything. Sad!
