★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parking très pratique pour visiter le beau village de Monsanto , fontaine d'eau douce , par contre très bruyant le soir jusqu'à 2 heures du matin du au café bar de la place !
Very practical parking for visiting the beautiful village of Monsanto, fresh water fountain, on the other hand very noisy in the evening until 2 am from the cafe bar in the square!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im Dorf unterhalb von Monsanto gelegen. Frischwasser vorhanden. Keine Entsorgung. Platz ist nicht Eben, er hat überall mehr oder weniger Neigung. Es gibt ein Lebensmittelgeschäft und ein Café am Platz.
Located in the village below Monsanto. Fresh water available. No disposal. Space is not level, it has more or less inclination everywhere. There is a grocery store and a cafe on the square.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Não existe qualquer parque oficial ou oficioso para caravanas mas sim um largo no lugar chamado relva o presumível parque seria perto da GNR que alem de não ser parque mas antigo recinto para festas agora é um estaleiro de obras.
There is no official or unofficial park for caravans, but a square in the place called Relva, the presumable park would be close to the GNR, which in addition to not being a park but a former party venue is now a construction site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good parking fairly level clean toilets bar and minimarket Close by. Fairly tough walk to Monsanto village and castle but worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warning : this is not an official campers place, it's the public village square. Big and flat enough to welcome campervans, with clean toilets available and a fountain. The café nearby will welcome you and the owner speaks French. There's also a good typical restaurant a few metres down the road.
A very good spot to park and explore Monsanto (no free parking above) , but don't expect the facilities of a campsite and please respect the place and the locals!
