Pena estar "abandonado " porque tem infraestruturas mas não estão a trabalhar ..
Desconheço se estará aberto o resto do ano mas nesta altura não se encontra em laboração ...
In my opinion, this park is the most beautiful and peaceful in the Serra da Estrela.
It is a pity to be "abandoned" because it has infrastructures but they are not working ..
I don't know if it will be open the rest of the year but at this time it is not in operation...

There is no reception, no bar, no people. Water is still running and there are many barbecues around the site. If you are organized enough with food I recommend to enjoy a night immersed in nature. There might 3 dogs around the camping site, they might bark at you at first sight, but don't be scared they kept us company the whole night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite places to come as a child. Recently came many years later am glad to find the place in the same beauty as it was. Although the camping is now closed, the toilets are still working and there is also trash separation. Perfect place to spend the night watching the stars!
