A lovely green park that is home to a monthly flea market on the second Sunday of each month. Serene and cooling, with benches under the shady foliage of the old trees and views of the waterscape. A nice break from the daily hustle and bustle and the heat of the day. A playground keeps the kiddos occupied and happy. Nice!

Good place to spend the day , has walking paths , museum, water feature , swans , ducks , birds and a naughty peacock that is seen walking all over the city as well. Has 2 coffee shops and the one I love is closed at the moment due to Covid. Waiting for it to open soon.

Fairy tale place, literally ...with amazing lake in the center of the park. Building is old and ruined but still looks breath taking, I hope it will be renovate soon and shine again. Park is huge with different locations where you can chill or drink a caffe. In the heart of the park is museum of José Malhoa, one of the eminent portuguese naturalist painter. Museum contacting painting and sculptures by artist from the same era. Whole park is full of monuments, really artistic place. If you visit Caldas don't miss this place.

Nice walks, and another amazing building, abandoned-Portuguese style ?

One of the most beautiful parks in Portugal. Perfect for a picnic, playing tennis, walking your dog, or going for a row around the little lake. There are many statues scattered throughout the park so it's also a cultural experience. There are many quiet spots if you crave a little solitude. Bicycles are officially prohibited, but tolerated for kids. Dogs are supposed to be on a leash. There are clean public restrooms and water fountains. There is also a cafe serving drinks and snacks. There is a playground for kids and some outdoor exercise equipment. The second Sunday of every month, there is a large flea market.

One of the must sees if you're in Caldas da Rainha. A nice park for a walk on a sunny day. Lie in the grass and enjoy the sun. On Sunday you can visit the José Malhoa Museum for free, a nice bonus if you like art.
