★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best steak I've had in Faro. We arrived on a busy Thursday night without any booking, but our group was accommodated. No starters were needed but we enjoyed some drinks and bread before our meal (the olive tapenade is delicious). Our steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned, the side servings were generous and the wait staff were attentive and helpful. Making this place a regular on our trips to Faro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the nicest restaurants I have ever eaten in. We went for a birthday with 12 of us and got seated on a brilliant square table in front of the big tree. The food was outstanding and the steak I got was cooked exactly how I asked for it. The waiter was also extremely helpful and knowledgeable when asked about the wines. We will definitely be back in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was expecting a great deal from this restaurant based on what I had heard. Sadly those expectations were not met. Service was fine until the restaurant filled, then we were neglected. An unhealthy amount of flies fling around our meals. Everyone complained about standard of meat - tough and not cooked to order. Wine was lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a disaster. Went there for valentine dinner. Fix menu for 62 euros. 3 courses. This place used to be very good and great reputation. So I had the lamb medium rare and my wife had the fillet steak medium. So this place Is famous for its meat! So my came well done. And my walife as well.... So we asked again, take 2, mine was OK cooked, my wife was now rare, but so rare was still cold in middle... So take 3. Was OK. But the fillet steak just kept being tough and stringy. My lamb had mintsauce... But no taste of mint whatsoever, so that I mentioned. Reply it was a jus infused with mint, OK.... But don't taste mint.
We said the fillet steak or in Portuguese bife se lombo. was very tough and stringy, not what you expect of the most tender part of the cow! And not just us but 3 other people send back because not cooked right. And lady kept insisting that it was best cut of the cow... The condiments were very good though! Excellent.
So after this the waiter went to fill the water up on the other table with our water. In all.... Not recommended at all.... If you pretend to be high end grill restaurant at least you need to be able to cook the right poison and for this money serve a decent steak..... Awfully and normally not a complainer
