Restaurante Bamboo - Estr. da Quinta do Lago

We went to bamboo after seeing some “celebrities” doing advertising, via Instagram, and how cute the space looked (and that is, top score for the 5 * restaurant space) and in a pandemic year we decided to take a vacation in our country, we booked table 2 days in advance for 4 people and we made a point of reinforcing that we wanted an outdoor table (although we know that the whole restaurant was open air, but there is always the possibility that when we didn’t mention anything they would put us in a less nice .... that's what happened). At the appointed time we were there, I noticed that none of the 3 available tables, one at the foot of the WC under a wooden structure, another one next to the sound column, where it was almost impossible to speak, and another one next to the sushiman, is also under a wooden structure, they didn’t have a sign to say reserved (I found it strange, but whoever manages the space can work like this). We gave the name of the reservation and the girl there looked in the notebook, which had no name but only 4 people ... (possibly if we were some big name, we would have a reservation with a name and not a number, because in that notebook there were names and down there right at the bottom there were the numbers). That girl, not very friendly, told us that we could choose one of the 3 tables, in the middle of the bad there was still a choice, although we were clear in our reservation, between becoming deaf or getting some heat, we preferred to get some heat (and we passed). We made our order and I have to congratulate the girl / lady who takes the orders, who was extremely friendly, and who helped us choose what to order and the amount to order. As for the food: it is good but not surprising, as the prices are adjusted to the area ... the quality / price ratio is normal. To conclude with a golden key, when we asked to be served more wine, from our bottle, the employee grabbed the bottle and walked around the space with it in his hand, of course we called him to attention and he apologized, but when if you pay 30 € for a bottle of wine in a space like that, this cannot happen. If you are a foreigner or a public figure, I believe you will have a better experience than ours, however, you can always take a chance and you may be luckier than us. It is sad that given the current situation, we still continue to prefer what comes from outside the silver house. I wanted to make this review on tripadvisor but I couldn't find the Bamboo restaurant page.

Delicious food but extremely overpriced! Price performance does not fit here. Rice was dry and must have stood for a long time. The ambience is very nice, but it's not worth it to me either. But contrary to all reviews, our service was good. Only the place was completely empty (we were the only ones)

A beautiful restaurant, a very good atmosphere! On the day I went there was live music and a DJ with spectacular interaction with the audience!! The delicious food and the very friendly and attentive staff, always collecting used dishes and refilling the drinks in the glass! An experience that I would definitely recommend as it is a restaurant that, in addition to an incredible meal, provides us with fantastic service and an experience to remember for a long time ❤️
