★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely local restaurant cafeteria style with a wonderful selection of pastries, sandwiches and quick snack meals. Prices are cheap and service very friendly. Most of the staff spoke English and helped us through the menu! Went there twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast:
An espresso is €0.70, a classic Portuguese tart (pastel de nata) is €1.10, a cheese sandwich is €1.80and you can have a filling lunch meal for €5-€7. Definitely recommend for families!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed with food - ordered a veal beef grill but it tasted more like a thinly sliced rump steak. Accompanied by industrial chips and plain rice. Service couldn't be faulted. Nice wine.
But my high hopes after reading the reviews were dashed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good local place, we went there for dinner, i ordered squid and a jug of sangria—the squid was really delicious, the portion is also super generous and the sangria is really nice and fresh. All at at really affordable price! The staff was also super friendly and helpful (the fact that we didn’t speak portuguese didn’t matter). The dessert was also really good, so make sure you make a space for one! ?

However, 4 hours after eating there, I ended up having a bad food poisoning which knocked me out for the rest of the day :( It was the only thing I ate that day, so I am pretty sure this was the source. Not sure if I would give this place another chance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for breakfast sitting outside. Their coffee and cappuccino are good. The service is prompt and attentive. Their croissant is fresh and good but more like bread. Nothing like a great Parisian croissant. But their orange juice, fresh squeezed is the best. We enjoyed it and will be back
