★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiter who first talked to us, was very pleasant and helpful, but other than that, and the nice fries, that's about everything positive I have to say.
The steak was hard and unevenly cooked, the knife was bent and couldn't cut without some serious elbow grease, and the waiter who eventually got our table, wasn't really happy to help.
Amongst our small group, we all seem to agree on not going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered grilled sardinhas and they arrived not fully cleaned. We couldn’t eat because they looked bad and small even worst. We asked for a new order but the waitress instead of listening to us, invited us to eat because for them the sardinhas were normal. It was definitely a bad experience and we won’t come back in any case even if we are starving and it’s the only restaurant open! Avoid it!

The first visit was just for a beer, but the atmosphere was good and the staff were really nice, so we decided we must go back for a meal.
We had dinner a couple of days later - it is simple food, but very tasty.
Last night (7th March 2022) we returned for dinner again. The staff remembered us and were very good at helping us choose what fish dishes to go for.
The food and drinks are resonably priced, and it's a nice atmosphere with lots of local customers.
Recommended. :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just got back from Faro and visited this place as it was recommended by TukTuk driver, Ernesto.
This place does not look fancy, just like an average canteen but the food they serve is so delicious! Waiter spoke English and recommended us the food and it was the best fish I ever tried, we had Grilled Fish by the way.
Another good point - there are a lot of local people who came for a dinner which is a good sign in my opinion.
If you are in Faro, I do recommend this place! 5 stars!
