★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing place - best food i had in Faro. Ricky is so nice and accommodating and the seafood is so fresh. I travelled alone and he was full of chat and interesting stories.
The wine is also phenomenal - can’t recommend enough!

it’s actually been about 6 months or so since I went and ate at Tasca Do Ricky with my girlfriend i don’t know if Ricky truly believed me when I told him it was the best meal I had ever eaten hopefully he did because I can genuinely say hand on my heart that it was the best meal I have ever eaten.
Will definitely be returning to eat here again it was my first time in Portugal and really started my journey off with a great start
Also thoroughly enjoyed the service that Ricky provided and loved the energy and enthusiasm he had for his restaurant.

I went there two times in a row, here are some highlights from the food:
Ps: the squids are beyond imagination ? unfortunately forgot to take a photo.
And the dessert specially, never ate such an art of sweetness

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my favorite dinner in my travels through Portugal! The grilled squid appetizer was so flavorful yet simple, marinated in olive oil, garlic, and salt. Likewise the grilled salmon was cooked perfectly, so fresh and seasoned with olive oil, garlic and coriander. Ricky was a wonderful host and attentive server.
